Rain Check

We're sorry. We thought we could brave it - but there was too much rain to get started this morning.

You see, our moving truck is a convertible. So even if we tried to get out there through it rain, it would ruin all our stuff, before we were safely under our tent.

We'll see you next weekend.

But you of course know that if you're interested in any of the items you see here, you can email us...

Winter Bags

Winter bags are so delicious here at Inhabit Studio. They will keep your hands warm while your fishing for your keys. They are versatile and fashionable. Just the way winter should be. These bags can be worn inside out. Frontwards or backwards. They're really quite special.

Aww Shucks....

Thank you to DCGreenworks for their Inhabit support!

Check this out....

We will see you all this Sunday at the Eastern Market.

We KNOW it's the day after Halloween, but I think you can find the strength, to get out of bed, brush your teeth and put your shoes on. The crisp fall air will do your sugar hang over some good.

We make BAGS.

This is the new messenger bag. Come find us this Sunday at the market. We have lots of them.
We're doing a lot of grey. We hope you approve. Bags may be custom made as well. Don't hesitate to ask Sal, on Sunday, November 1st at the Eastern Market.

her name is Coffee Table

She's made of stained wood and glass. You can put things inside her and rub her down with Windex, if you like. We like her just fine the way she is.

Change of Plans

It appears as though it's a little too full at the Eastern Market for us to show.

So - mark your calendar for October 11th, 2009. There will be room this time.

We are working hard on making the most delightful little gems.

Can't wait to see you there.

Eastern Market: Part Deux

We're doing it again. This Sunday, October 3rd, 2009. We'll be the little booth with all the flower sacks.

Yep, we made more. We had such tremendous feedback last time, that we decided to bring em' back by the dozen. This doesn't mean we won't have other items.

See you there.

A Video Says a Thousands Words

video

We miss you all already!

EASTERN MARKET DAY

Phew! What an extraordinary day. You are all such attractive and interesting people. You D.C. folks, you. There were dog walkers
and dog sitters.
Twins and
rabbits and
bike riders and hanger outers.
Striders and
saunters and
stragglers.

My my, all the people we know, now.

I think some of you would like tables especially for you. Something specific, the right size and color.
Email us. pirronesalvatore@gmail.com

Thank you for loving our Flower Sacks so much. We intend to make more, in different sizes and have a larger selection next Sunday. Your thoughts and ideas mean so much to us.

We met writers and go greeners and mothers and fathers and a nice French woman and an even nicer Scottish woman, she was really pretty. And then we met this gregarious fellow, Jerry, who doesn't like Italians and Sal is from the boot. Then, our friend Max, the chap who sells the vintage bikes told us he hadn't sold the one he traded with us a while back and then he sold it not a moment later!

There was good luck all around. Please post a comment and leave us so more feed back.

This fellow above, he really loved the Love Benches. We think he wants us to make them in white.

We can't wait to see you all again and we look forward to hearing from you!

Flower Sack Dance

video

Eastern Market or Bust

One day left. We are thrilled, here at Inhabit. Well, actually, we're also a little sad. Why do you ask? Because, all the beautiful things we're making have to leave our house and move into yours. Thankfully, we take pictures. Lots of pictures and we can remember them fondly.

These are Flower Sacks. They hang from a tree or your front porch. They are soft. They are sacks...for flowers.

front back

We also make lovely tables here. There is one that looks like a tree, one that looks like a box one that looks like a mushroom. Aw shucks, I'll show you.

This one was sculpted from concrete. You could also put a wooden table top on it, or leave it as is.

Bookshelf desk update.
Remember the video of the bookshelf desk? Check the archive on your right. Well, we love it. And, as you can see, we get a lot of use out of it.

One Week Away

We're getting very excited around here. It's only one more week before we see you at the Eastern Market, Sunday September 20th. Boy, do we have a lot of work to do before we're completely ready. Here is a little peek of the studio, slowly getting staged and ready for the big show.

We are especially thrilled about our sculptural bookends. We can't wait to show you!

Postcards! That's right - paper and pen with words...

Don't you miss receiving a nice post card from a friend? But, with the economic crisis on our hands, who has the money to travel to a far off land? We sure don't. Local post cards are just as special, if not more so, because you took the time to write a nice note to your friend whom you just saw yesterday. It's sweet.

Our Inhabit postcards are flavored with abstract drawings in black and tan. Each package comes with a set of ten unique cards. They are curious and delightful. Place an order with us now or see us September 20th at the Eastern Market.

Global COOLING (If you ask us)

We just wanted to say that we love Washington, D.C. weather. And also, we can't wait to see you at the market in a few weeks. It's gonna be super. We also wanted to pose a question. How many legs does a bench have? Does a bench NEED? We're flexible on these standardized things.

Video 2

We are working on concrete door stoppers. That's right. And we wanted to share some of the process without giving all our secrets away. Please enjoy the second video from Inhabit and stay tuned for more.
